Huge swathes of Canada’s working class, as in the USA, are patriots. Canada’s New Democrats supposedly champion the working class, but Singh won’t support the multi-ethnic trucker revolt, which includes Punjabi-Canadians, because they’re all a bunch of “evil white nationalists.” However, Singh will support Punjabi nationalists in India. Confused? Yeah, well most people on the Left are very confused.

BTW, the arrest of pastors last spring in Alberta was the last nail in the coffin for our continued presence in Canada. We fled the country last fall. Things have gone from bad to worse since then. Alberta’s rolling back COVID restrictions but Premier Jason Kenney is still determined to haul clergymen to jail.
