>WW4 File: Hamas claims missile hit Tel Nof air base near Tel Aviv, facility allegedly houses nukes; Israel ignores UN resolution, pursues Gaza op

>The United Nations Security Council, which is dominated by communist superpowers Russia and China, passed a resolution today calling for an immediate cease-fire in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli government, however, ignored the resolution, citing the security of citizens and territory as justification for continued suppression of the Hamas terrorist regime in Gaza City. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert rightly rejected the UN resolution, saying on Friday morning, “The (Hamas) rocket attacks this morning on the residents of the south only prove that the U.N.’s resolution is not practical and will not be upheld by the Palestinian murder organizations.” Hamas fired more than 30 rockets toward Israel this morning.

Although additional confirmation has yet to surface, al-Aqsa television quoted Hamas officials as contending that today one of their Grad rockets hit Tel Nof, an important air base on the outskirts of Rehovot, south of Tel Aviv. Tel Nof, which is home to several fighter jet and helicopter squadrons, allegedly houses Israel’s nuclear weapons.

Today Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Saltanov, after holding talks with Hamas chief Khaled Mashaal in Damascus, travelled to Israel where he conferred with that country’s Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni. At the time Saltanov warned of the eruption of a wider conflagration in the Middle East: “The continuation of Israel’s military operation in the Gaza Strip could spread beyond the coastal sliver. The large-scale offensive in Gaza threatens the security of other regions as well.”

Meanwhile, BBC reports that Palestinians protesting against the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip clashed with Israeli security forces in the West Bank today: “At the Qalandiya checkpoint, an entrance to the city of Ramallah, Palestinian youths threw stones at soldiers who again fired tear gas and stun grenades at the protesters. In the West Bank village of Bilin, protesters dressed as Holocaust concentration camp inmates and threw stones at Israeli soldiers, who responded with tear gas.”

The AFP news agency also reports that in Alexandria the Muslim Brotherhood rallied more than 50,000 Egyptians to protest Israel’s suppression of the Hamas insurgency. Hamas represents the Gaza chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood. Anti-Israel protests also occurred in other Arab states like Algeria, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Asia and Europe. In the latter, the Greek Communist Party urged more than 2,000 rioters in Athens and Thessaloniki to burn the United States and European Union flags outside the US embassy and the Israeli flag outside the Israeli mission.

    >How typical that Greek Reds should show their solidarity for their Middle Eastern counterparts. I wonder if Soviet provocators were certainly involved in the agitation of these Greek riots back in early December.

    >It should also be known that the Mossad website of Israel’s main intelligence group has been hacked into by hackers hired on the part of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.Aside from that, members of the Marxist PLO faction Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) have called upon “Progressive” forces everywhere to occupy Israeli embassies but also including American, Egyptian and any other embassies which nations stand in the way of the Communist bloc’s push for one world government.
