>G2 Bulletin: MI6 Monitors Meetings Between Putin’s Anointed Successor Dmitry Medvedev and Serbian Leadership in Belgrade

The Western theft of Kosovo may provoke WWIII . . . It’s time for Russia to draw a line in the sand.
— Pravda, February 19, 2008

Yesterday World Net Daily editor Joseph Farah dropped the following bombshell in his G2 Bulletin. Apparently Gazprom CEO Dmitry Medvedev’s trip to Belgrade this week entailed not only signing Serbia onto the South Stream natural gas pipeline as well as demonstrating verbal solidarity with the Serbian leadership over its opposition to Kosovar secession, but also offering to deploy Russian missiles on Serbian soil. Serbian nationalist and failed presidential candidate Tomislav Nikolic has already campaigned in favor of such a scenario.

Putin offers nukes to Serbia
Missile threat escalates as Russia goes to polls

LONDON – MI6 agents have monitored secret meetings between top Serbian officials and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s anointed successor, Dmitry Medvedev, to discuss the installation of Russian nuclear missiles to contribute to what he told a Moscow election rally this weekend would “help to ensure Serbian security.”

The president-in-waiting – no one seriously believes any other candidate will win this coming Sunday’s election – also will ensure that President Vladimir Putin will become the nation’s prime minister, effectively remaining the real power behind Medvedev after stepping down from the presidency.

“In fact Putin’s descent into the prime minister’s chair is the most interesting facet of the current situation. Putin has not revealed the motivation behind the decision to exchange his role as ‘popularity god’ for one of a simple bureaucrat,” reveals an MI6 report.

The author, a senior analyst, concludes: “The acceptance of the prime minister’s job is no more than a front – ensuring he remains the powerful puppeteer behind the puppet.”

Certainly Putin’s hand can be deduced in the threat to plant nuclear missiles in the region – so as to provide Russia with its own version of America’s Star Wars.

In the past week, Medvedev’s offer to provide missiles has escalated an already tense situation in the region.

If Russian missiles are installed in Serbia, it could spread. Kosovo could become the first testing ground for Russia’s new president as he continues to support the ever-deepening confrontation between Moscow and the West.

If Farah’s reporting is accurate, then this is not a particularly surprising development since neo-Soviet Russia’s dictator has already threatened to train his nuclear arsenal on Europe, including Ukraine. In a related story, Reuters reports today that Kosovar Serbs are demanding the return of Russian peacekeepers to the secessionist region. Russian troops contributed to NATO’s Kosovo Force mission between 1999 and 2003. The same source reports, too, that per earlier threats, ethnic Serbs in the Kosovo Police Service have mutineed by failing to report for duty: “In a new sign of the deepening ethnic divide, dozens of Serb officers in the Kosovo police service failed to report for duty on Wednesday in the eastern Gnjilane region.”

Incidentally, the MI6 report notes above: “In fact Putin’s descent into the prime minister’s chair is the most interesting facet of the current situation. Putin has not revealed the motivation behind the decision to exchange his role as ‘popularity god’ for one of a simple bureaucrat.” Putin’s stated willingness to re-assume the role of prime minister, however, is easily grasped in the light of the long-range Soviet strategy for deceiving and conquering the West and secretly consolidating the power of the Communist Party, using potemkin entities like United Russia, throughout the Not-So-Former Soviet Union.

Neo-Soviet Russia Builds Case for Nuking America

Pravda opens a window into the collective mind of the Soviet elites and their next moves for implementing the Communist Party’s “general line” for global Leninist revolution. On February 19 Pravda contended that the “Islamic Republic of Kosovo” fails to meet the test of statehood in the eyes of Russia and the United Nations and, furthermore, that the USA has forfeited the right to be the “world’s policeman.” Indeed, the communist mouthpiece opines that “the primary reason to steal Kosovo from Serbia pertain to maintaining an indefinite NATO military presence in the Serbian province (Camp Bondsteel) to act against a resurgent Russia.”

[T]he UN will never recognize Kosovo as Russia realizes that the primary reasons to steal Kosovo from Serbia pertain to maintaining an indefinite NATO military presence in the Serbian province (Camp Bondsteel) to act against a resurgent Russia. A popular saying among many Eastern Europeans is: “Today Serbia, tomorrow Russia.” Given the shameful and dishonorable way that the West has behaved since it illegally destroyed the former Yugoslavia, Russians should be very concerned. You can’t appease evil.

The US and the EU are creating a very dangerous precedent by illegally creating a “Greater Albania” that will irreversibly damage relations with Russia and encourage some 200 separatist movements the worldover. The US has lost the “moral” authority to act as self-appointed “policeman” of the world. Just as the Nazi occupation of the Sudentenland from Czechoslovakia was the precursor to WWII, the Western theft of Kosovo may provoke WWIII.

Pravda concludes: “It’s time for Russia to draw a line in the sand.”

In another article that the Soviet organ picks up from Beiruit-based Dar Al-Hayat, Michel Morkos complains that inflation linked to the weak US dollar is holding the global economy hostage, particularly “emerging economies” in “post”-communist nations like Russia and “pseudo”-communist nations like China:

However, the weakening dollar has caught both developed and emerging nations off guard, especially those whose currencies are tied or pegged to the US dollar with respect to transactions and upward or downward variations, or even with respect to modifications of US base interest rates. As far as these countries are concerned, the weakened dollar leads to rising inflation which expands at the expense of growth rates because every percentage point of inflation cancels one percentage point of nominal growth. Hence, as inflation increases, these nations are forced to double their economic activity to maintain high growth rates. The list of emerging economies facing this difficulty includes China, Russia, and India. Arab countries, especially the Gulf states, also face a similar situation, as their currencies are pegged to the dollar and their economies rely on exports. In these countries, inflation rapidly eats into the public budgets heavily dependent oil revenues.

Day by day it becomes more apparent that the Kremlin is developing a number of rationales for war against the West.

    >No major surprise about this move by Putin. Wonder if these Russian “peacekeepers” will be also involved in egging Serbian rioters to target more U.S. targets.

    >I should also note that William F. Buckley Jr. just passed away. He was a noted figure within the American Conservative movement and my concern is that Buckley may have ignored Anatoliy Golitsyn’s warnings on Soviet deception with the “fall” of Communism to likely allow American Conservatives and Conservatives in general to accept the phony fall of Communism.Buckley was even approached by Golitsyn and also James Jesus Angleton with information on the Soviets’ strategy for this deceptive game but promptly ignored them.

    >You might also want to be willing to add the National Review Online as a semi-Faux Rightist site. For one reason, Buckley whom founded the National Review ignored Anatoliy Golitsyn’s warnings on Soviet deception.Where in there, most American Conservatives have ignored Soviets’ long-ranged deception to this day.
